Why consider a pet sitter?  Here's several good reasons . . .

* Your pet receives love and personal attention while you are away.

* It reduces stress because your animals are in their familiar environment where they feel secure.

* Neither you nor your pet(s) are inconvenienced or upset by being transported.

* You don't have to impose on a friend, neighbor or relative who may forget to care for your pet.

* Your home is made more secure by the crime deterrent measures provided by pet sitting services.

* While you're away, you can feel confident your pet is in capable and caring hands.

* You can use other special services, such as watering plants and bringing in mail and newspapers.

Riley

This is Riley, who's one of my many rescued Dachshund's that I've had the honor of caring for over the years. He is 14 years old and weighs 12 pounds, but don't let him fool you because he's a lot of dog in a small package. Riley is just a happy-go-lucky Doxie and also expresses his gratitude for being rescued each and every day.

I've worked with Riley, along with all my other Doxies that I’ve had the blessing to care for over the years, to heal from a variety of experiences. A several of the alternative healing modalities I've used include Reiki, hydrotherapy, deTerra essential oils & homeopathy.

I'm familiar with crate training and my mentor is Caesar Milan "The Dog Whisperer" (https://www.cesarsway.com) who implements the philosophy of exercise, discipline & affection, in that order. In turn this approach, creates a balanced canine. I’ve also followed and implemented many of the training techniques of Victoria Stillwell of "Me or the Dog" (National Geographic TV series) and have had great success with changing past behavioral patterns with utmost respect and so my perspective is to refrain from “man-handling” any four-legged and instead encourage positive behavior/responses. I NEVER use physical discipline; only kind words and loving gestures often in conjunction with energy work. Animals, much like, children are products of their environment and each deserve to be treated with the love that they are.
